01 · THE PROBLEM

## Where they were stuck.

Streaming in 2015 South Asia: no platform built for the bandwidth + content-rights realities of the region. International players didn't prioritize the market. Local players didn't have the engineering depth. Rights holders refused to license without DRM matching Hollywood standards. The opportunity was real. The technology gap was the bottleneck.

02 · OUR APPROACH

## How we built it.

-   01 AWS + commercial streaming-server backbone, optimized for variable-bandwidth South Asian networks
-   02 Adaptive bitrate ladders tuned to 3G/4G realities, not US fiber assumptions
-   03 Enterprise DRM across mobile + desktop ecosystems + media chunking that made illegal recording materially harder
-   04 Geographically-distributed CDN edge caching with regional fallback when international edges were slow
-   05 Rights-holder compliance: full audit trail of who watched what, when, from where, plus DRM token revocation on jailbroken devices
